Mod Boutique Style Session

Every year I spend time evaluating my stockpile of clothing that I affectionately call my "client closet." This closet is a selection of pieces that I have hand-selected over time to ensure that my mommas feel beautiful and babies look adorable. I guess you could say that I spend the same, if not more time and resource dressing others... LOL!!!

All silliness aside though, this service is something that I toil over with research and bargain shopping. I pay close attention to the details and the materials, wanting everything to be just right. It's important to me be able to offer a service to my clients that brings them both peace of mind and creative images of warmth and style.

Recently I decided to try out a new clothing vendor that I've had my eye on for several months. Like any other vendor, I pay attention to what's trending and what products circulate through their online shops. If I see something that I just "have to have," I snag it!

Enter the incredibly lovely Freya Dress from the trendy Mod Boutique. I mean...WOW! The second I saw this dress online, I knew my clients would feel lovely in every sense of the word.

Of course I couldn't just order one dress! I mean who does that?? Haha.

So the second my order went through, the finger tapping and house pacing began. I don't know about you, but when I order something online, I kinda turn into a crazy kid on Christmas morning. You know what I mean, right? Annoying. Eager. Impatient.

Even in the midst of a pandemic this adorable boutique had my order delivered promptly and safely. I couldn't believe it! To be honest, I was perfectly accepting of anything that arrived within a month (I've waited longer from some places that shall remain nameless... sigh). Yet here I was, less than two weeks from placing my order and unwrapping all of my goodies.

As soon as I held up the Freya high-low maxi my mind immediately went into pick-a-model mode. I wanted this dress photographed. Right. Now!

Emiley came to mind right away. I somehow just envisioned her in this flowy dress during golden hour. Thankfully, she was such a gem and went for it!

And for the record - I have major hair envy! She is such a stunning human. Inside and out. Imagine an old soul trapped inside a twenty-something body... you'd get Emiley! Wise beyond her years and the heart of a saint.

After a mad dash through the River Bend Forest Preserve, we managed to get a lovely set of images. I couldn't be happier with the end result and now I'm super excited to add this piece to my client closet! What do you think?? Is it a keeper?
